Hi everyone!
Here is a little bit about me!
In the beginning…
I was born on 13th June 1987 in Manchester and grew up comfortably in Altrincham, Cheshire with my mum, dad, 2 sisters and 1 brother. My parents divorced when I was 5 and we were forced to uproot into a rented house when our family home was repossessed. From then we struggled but were still happy!
Mum found love again and remarried in February ‘98 (I was 10). Her new husband was German so mum, my younger sister and I all moved to Hamburg, Germany. Leaving my adult siblings behind was heartbreaking, but we felt it would be a better life for us.
Germany was good when we finally settled in and I even miss it now, but we were there for only 5 months as a holiday back in England made us realise what we were missing and we never went back! (Mum’s husband stayed in Germany.) Having nowhere to live in England, we had to live in a hostel until a house was found for us (3 months later).
School days...
During our time at the hostel, I started secondary school at Altrincham Grammar School For Girls, where I studied until the age of 18. Here I achieved 9 A*-B GCSEs, 4 AS levels and 3 ‘A’ levels at grades ABB.
I gained a place to study business management at Imperial College, London, but I wasn’t happy there and after a month or so I realised it wasn’t for me and went back home to Altrincham.
I reapplied to Manchester University for the architecture course and was accepted to start in September 2006.
Signs of things to come...
Previous to that, in November 2005, I was scouted by a London model agency at the Clothes Show in Birmingham. They said they would get in touch if they were interested. It took about four months, but finally in February 2006 they phoned and asked me to go for an interview. I had my portfolio pictures taken at Fairlight Studios in London and was impressed by the results! The agency got me no work, but I was just happy with the pictures!
Whilst waiting for my new architecture course to start, I worked as a waitress. This is when I discovered the Miss Manchester contest, after a flyer was left at my workplace. I applied and got into the final! I have always had stage fright, so this was really nerve-wracking for me! Unfortunately, I didn’t get anywhere in the contest, but I was proud of myself for competing and the night was fun!!
Eventually, my architecture course started in Manchester and at first I enjoyed it. However, I soon started to hate it and decided to leave again, realising that university in general just wasn’t for me!
Watch this space...
From that point, I decided to take on modelling seriously and decided this is what I really want! So, here I am, trying to break into the hugely competitive glamour modelling industry! I want to be successful doing lingerie modelling, swimwear modelling, and tasteful glamour modelling.
Since taking modelling seriously, I have appeared in UK magazines, done well in Internet beauty competitions, and been to interviews with more modelling agencies. So things are definitely moving in the right direction!
Have a look at the other parts of my site to see pictures from the modelling work and competitions I’ve done and to find out more about the latest news in my modelling career.
Wish me luck and help me out wherever you can! Thanks.
